(Nyngan Memorial for the 1990 Floods where the whole town was evacuated by helicopter)
(Nyngan Council Chambers, we worked out of here during the recovery of Nyngan after the floods, I was in charge of Dubbo Bush Fire Fighters that assisted first in the sandbagging of the levy banks then when they failed they helped evacuate the residents then went back to help people clean up)
(Nyngan Railway Station, this and the RSL was the driest place after the levy banks breached, one of the brigade Captains used a truck he found with the keys in it to go door to door getting people and transporting them to the station where they were dry and safe, they spent the night there then the next morning choppers went in and picked them up and dropped them just past the flood area where they were transported by buses into Dubbo)
(Nyngan has two free overnight stay places, this the evacuation Memorial Park and the Teamsters rest in the main street)

Wingham
(Manning River Reserve at Wingham, the local council offers free overnight parking for self contain vehicles although they do have toilets and water available at the area. They request that you put any shopper dockets in a locked yellow box located by the sign this is so they can see that free campers actually spend money in the township, you can also put a donation in the same box towards the upkeep of the area, and why wouldn't you.)
(Same place as above the mist on the early morning water)
(Vampire jet in the park near Wingham RSL)
(Coopernook Hotel, great friendly staff and good meals they also offer free overnight parking for motorhomes and caravans, naturally you have a beer or a meal at the hotel.)
