This blog like the other two listed in my blog list is my scribbles of what we are doing, I call them scribbles as I often type away without really proof reading. After seven years of sailing and living aboard our lovely catamaran 'Alana Rose' we are having a change of lifestyle due to injuries in my shoulders that prevent us from continuing the sailing life which we will miss greatly. However, one door closes another will open. We now have a buyer for our boat and this should settle in the next month we will then move to this adventure of driving around Australia in our new motorhome. It will be good to go back to some of the places we visited by sea and look more of the land areas and re-acquaint with the lovely people that we met along the way.
Before we set off on this land touring we have one last sail as the new owners would like us to deliver the boat to Lake Macquarie so if all goes well with the sale we will be looking for a weather window to leave Brisbane and sail south.
